The Center for Women Mentoring Program connects eligible participants with a mentor who acts as trusted friend and guide. Navigating a life transition such as job loss, divorce, death of spouse, or workforce re-entry can be overwhelming. The Center for Women understands that having a support person walk this journey with you can help turn a difficult ending into a new beginning.
The mentoring program aims to create a supportive community of women helping women achieve success. Participants grow their confidence and skills while developing a supportive relationship with a mentor who offers encouragement and friendship.
If you are a woman experiencing a life transition and are looking to embark on a year-long exploration of self-reflection and personal development, the Center for Women Mentoring Program may be a good fit for you.
If you are a woman interested in enriching your life by sharing your own experiences, listening and supporting a new friend, the Mentoring Program may be a good fit for you.
Our Mentoring Program serves women in the Pittsburgh area. Mentors meet one-on-one with participants in a community setting over the course of one year. We carefully screen, train, and monitor participants throughout the mentoring process to promote successful matches.
